Our attention to detail and eye for design ensure an enjoyable design experience.  We have been providing custom picture framing and art restoration from coast to coast.  A second generation of artisans are now in training to ensure a continuous level of quality and craftsmanship.

Coming from a family of artists and restorers, he has more than 50 years of experience in the picture framing industry. He specializes in art restoring with an attention to detail and perfection. Richard visualized and started A Frame of Art in 1989 in North San Diego with a goal of providing San Diego's premier framing design studio.

With over 25 years of frame design experience and a special expertise in design, color coordination and an eye for detail, Helen's primary passion is working with each client to design the perfect combination that resonates with the art but is exactly what the customer wants.

ALaN TJADEN

Alan has been groomed to have all-around expertise in the art and framing business since he was a child. As a perfectionist, Alan specializes in the production and fabrication of frames with a zealous attention to detail and craftmanship.
